Ruby and gold chain necklace

This classic goldplated chain necklace has a beautiful 16 mm round faceted ruby center, 2 round faceted 8mm ruby, 8 faceted 8 mm rondelles and 6 goldplated silver inserts.

The silver chain is 3 mm thick and the necklace can be 38 cm/14,96 in., 40 cm/15,74 in. or 43 cm/16,93 in. long, as desired.

Ruby is a gem from the corundum family, and a crystalline form of aluminium oxide with traces of iron, chromium and titanium. A rock-forming mineral, it is one of the naturally transparent materials, but can have different colors when impurities and inclusions are present.
