Ruby and silver or gold chain necklace

This classic silver chain necklace has a beautiful crossed 4 mm round faceted ruby centre. The silver chain is 3 mm and the necklace can be 38 cm/14,96 in., 40 cm/15,74 in. or 43 cm/16,93 in. long.

Ruby is a gem from the corundum family, and a crystalline form of aluminium oxide with traces of iron, chromium and titanium. A rock-forming mineral, it is one of the naturally transparent materials, but can have different colors when impurities and inclusions are present. It is July birthstone, Capricorn gemstone  and 15, 40 and 80 anniversary

I do not use any image enhancer on my photos, I take all pictures with a macro lens to show the most amount of details as possible, but in what concern gemstones there are not two completely equal stones.
